Ronald Merring, Lake Ariel, passed away Wednesday morning after a
courageous and hard fought battle with cancer at home surrounded by his
family. His wife of 27 years is Jacqueline Marsteller Merring.

years of dedicated service, Ron retired from the job he loved very much
as the Park Maintenance Supervisor. Ron left his mark throughout the
park accomplishing numerous projects such as the snowmobile bridge,
pavilions, and handicap fishing piers.

Ron loved the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening and

loved and cared for his family. He will be dearly missed.
