A celebration of Bob’s life will be held Saturday at the family home located at The Hideout 4310 North Fairway Dr. (please use North Gate) beginning at 1pm with Military Honors to be performed at 2pm.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105

Robert A. Vradenburgh, The Hideout, Lake Ariel, died Sunday at home following an injury.   His wife of  45 years is the former Dale Amos.

Born 1939 in Plattsburgh, New York he was the son of the late Robert A. and Geraldine Van Wirt Vradenburgh.  Prior to his retirement he had been employed by UPS as a driver for 28 years.  He was a member of the AMVETS as well as the American Legion,  both in Long Island.  Bob was a United States Army veteran serving two tours of duty in the Vietnam War.   For his heroic service to our country he was awarded a Purple Heart.   He earned the rank of Sergeant.

Also surviving are his son Andrew Vradenburgh and his wife Jennifer and their children Noah and Jordan of Fairless Hills, PA;  a brother Harold;  sisters Gloria Klein and Barbara St. John;  several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister Jeannette and brothers Richie and Ronnie.
