Robert “Rob” Scott, Cherry Ridge Twp., passed away Tuesday evening at home after an illness. His wife of 37 years is the former Christine Sharek.

Born October 21, 1949 in Scranton he was the son of the late LL, Jr. and Ruth Conrad Scott. He was educated in Scranton schools and was a graduate of the former replica watches Scranton Central High School and the Williamsport Area Community College. He was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church, Scranton. Prior to his retirement Rob was employed in the day to day operation of his family business, the former CB Scott Company, now known as the Eastern Penn Supply Company.

Rob loved to hunt, fish and Nascar racing. He loved spending time with his dogs Mason and Bumper. He will be greatly missed.

Also surviving are sisters Joan Scott Cross and her husband A.J. of Scranton and Kathryn Scott Adams and her husband Joseph of Lake Ariel; a nephew James Scott Cross; a niece Tiffany Cross Luciani; three great nephews Justin Scott Cross, CJ Luciani and Spencer Cross; a great niece Hana Cross; numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother LL Scott, III.

Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

The family encourages memorial contributions be made in Rob’s name to the Dessin Animal Shelter 138 Miller Rd. Honesdale, Pa. 18431.
