A private family service will be held at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Flourtown, PA.

Richard E. Johnson of Lakeville, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, surrounded by his beloved family. His wife of 51 years is the former Sondra Urey.
Born in Havertown, PA, son of the late Earl and Ethel Mae Cambell Johnson. He retired after 35 years from the Philadelphia Suburban Water Co.
He was a carpenter, an avid golfer, enjoyed RC planes, boating, water and snow skiing. Throughout his life he always had a canine companion by his side. His current companion, Bea will miss the daily car ride with Pop, every afternoon for a coffee. He especially enjoyed his time sitting by the ocean, more recently during the winter months in Florida. He dearly loved his family, the Philadelphia Eagles and Schaefer beer.  
Also surviving are daughters Terri L. Florentino and her husband Edward of Lake Ariel, Donna Lynn Williams and her husband Mark of Lewis Run, PA; a brother Bruce Johnson of Pennsylvania; Grandchildren Edward Florentino, Jr., Heather L. Masker, and Amy L. Scaturro; a great-granddaughter Harper L. Masker.
He was preceded in death by a son Ralph Edward Johnson and a grandson PJ, “Pure Joy” Williams.
Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
