Speranza of the Hideout, Lake Ariel died Thursday morning at Hospice of the Born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Walter and Anna Clements Chodakowsky, she was a member of St. Thomas More-St. Mary’s Parish Community. Prior to retirement she had been employed in the Bronx Public School System. Surviving are a daughter Patricia Speranza; a son Robert F. Speranza; grandsons Robert F. Jr. and Blaise J. Speranza; a brother Victor; sisters Gladys, Patricia, and Victoria. She was preceded in death by an infant son Ralph J. Speranza; brothers Walter, Christopher, and Donald. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00am in St. Thomas More Church 105 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel. Friends may call Saturday morning from 10:00-11:00am. Cremation will follow the Mass in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
