Paul Romaniello, Sr., Jefferson Twp , went home to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ late Friday in the Celebration Villa of the Mid Valley after a long illness. His wife was the former Ann Reidenbach Romaniello who passed away in 2015. At the time of her passing the couple had been married 60 years.

Born April 13, 1934 in Peckville, he was the son of the late Joseph and Girloma Alimenti Romaniello and was a graduate of Blakely High School. As a young man Paul played football for the Blakely Bears and enjoyed playing his guitar and singing country music. Upon graduation, Paul went to work for the Billings Company before moving to RCA where he served as a union steward and production scheduler. Paul served in the Pennsylvania National Guard.

Paul enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping. He was a member of the NRA. Paul loved his family deeply. He also loved the Lord and attended the Peckville Assembly of God as a child and the Hamlin Assembly of God as an adult.

Paul will be greatly missed. Surviving Paul are two sons, James Romaniello of Lake Ariel and wife Sharon Avery, and Paul Romaniello Jr., also of Lake Ariel and wife Catherine Antidormi. Paul has three married grandchildren: Jake Romaniello and wife Jessica Peterson, Michele Frazier and husband Nathan, and Christel Gillette and husband Thomas. He is adored by thirteen great-grandchildren: Elijah, Margaret Ann, Silas, Cora, Vivian, Theresa, Rachel, Agnes, Luca, Evangeline, Florentia, Hazel and Ezra; his brother-in-law James Sequin of Peckville.

He was also preceded in death by his sister Dolores Sequin.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11am in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd Lake Ariel with services officiated by Reverend Ernest B. Drost of the Peckville Assembly of God Church.
