Mr. Paul Horry was born to Paul Horry Sr. and Pearl Horry on June 19th,1932 in Jersey City, New Jersey.
After relocating to the Bronx, NY as a child, he graduated from Aviation High School located in Long
Island City, in Queens, NY. While attending Vaughn College of Aeronautics, Engineering and Technology
for two years, Paul also helped to raise his younger sisters Marlene and Diane when their mother was
sick. Paul was always considered a thoughtful and caring person.

In July 1951, he enlisted into The United States Air Force. While enlisted, Paul received the National Defense Service Medal and was
honorably discharged in July,1955. He immediately started a career as a mechanic for American Airlines.
On September 22,1956, Paul Horry married Frances McCoy in Queens, New York.

They raised three children together: Stefanie E. Horry (Jamaica, NY), Paula F. Brown (Las Vegas, NV) and Kevin P. Horry
(Ronkonkoma, NY). Frances departed this life in May,1976. Paul started a new job in the computer
department of Sloan Kettering Hospital in Manhattan, NY, and later married Erma Jean Field in 1981.
They raised two sons together, Tecla Murray (Laurelton, NY) and Dhibron Murray (Deceased).

In 1990, Paul and Erma Jean built their dream home “from the ground-up”; and moved to Lake Ariel, PA.
Paul worked hard, but he also enjoyed “living”; his life. Paul loved the water and was known to frequently
go boating and swimming. He also enjoyed watching basketball and baseball, playing ping-pong and
traveling on a regular basis to Mexico! Erma Jean departed this life in 2006. In the latter years of his life,
Paul had a companion named Maryann who became one of his best friends until she passed in early
2023.

Paul is survived by his sister Marlene Westmoreland (Bayside, NY), his children, Stefanie, Paula, Kevin
and his wife Melinda, Tecla and his wife Phertrina, and his grandchildren Rashon, Justin, Sierra and
Felicia. He is predeceased by his sister Diane and his son Dhibron. He is also survived by a host of family and friends.

Miss Me But Let Me Go
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free!
Miss me a little – but not for long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that once we shared,
Miss me but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone.
It's all part of the master plan
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart,
Go to the family and friends we know,
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds
Miss me, but let me go.
