Church St. Marys Church, Ledgedale

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10am in St Mary’s Church, St. Mary’s Church Rd., Lake Ariel by Rev. Stephen Stavoy, pastor.

Friends may call Saturday morning from 9:15am until time of Mass at the church.

Interment, private at the convenience of the family in the MJ “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery, South Carolina.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Patricia T. Coyle, a resident of Wallenpaupack Lake Estates, passed away Tuesday in the Regional Hospital of Scranton.   She was the widow of Lawrence F. Coyle who passed away in 2013.

Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the Catherine and Harry Harman..  She earned  Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees and prior to her retirement she had been employed as a Catholic School principal.   Her career was spent as St. Patrick’s School in Largo, Florida.   A person of great Catholic faith she attended Mass regularly at St. Mary’s Church, Ledgedale.  Patricia was a member of the WLE Women’s Group.

Patricia’s passion was quilting and sewing.  Every year she made over a hundred scarves to donate to her old church in South Carolina.  She loved her family very much and will be missed greatly.  She is now having that dance with our father in heaven.

Surviving are her children Joseph M. Coyle of Palm Harbor, FL,  Mary A. Coyle of Hillsborough, NJ and Thomas M. Coyle of Eldersburg, MD; a sister Virginia Fitzpatrick of Chuluota, FL; six grandchildren..
