Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11am in the St. Thomas More Church, 105 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel by Rev. Stephen Stavoy, pastor.

All attending the funeral are asked to go directly to the church.

Friends may call Wednesday from 4-7pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd., Lake Ariel.

Cremation will follow in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Help a Hero Fund 640 The Hideout Lake Ariel, PA 18436

Patricia Lawlor, The Hideout, passed peacefully surrounded by her husband of 61 years Charles, her daughters, and grandchildren. Her last days were testament to her spirited life always celebrating her family with laughter and a knowing smile. Pat’s pride in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren filled her days with joy, laughter, and love and in her passing she is at peace.

Sitting in her chair, Pat loved her peanut butter cups and crumb cake with coffee or Baileys Irish Creme and a good mystery novel.

Born in 1931 in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice Cooney Devaney.  She was a graduate of the Dominican Commercial High School.  She was a member of the St. Thomas More St. Mary’s Parish Community.

Also surviving are daughters Cathleen Callen and her husband Jim of Clarks Summit, Eileen Herbert of Clarks Summit, Patti Joyce and her husband Marty of Edison, New Jersey and Elizabeth Dantona and her husband Mike of Smithtown, New York;  grandchildren Jamie and girlfriend Andrea, Michael and wife Camille, Ryan and wife Courtney, Kevin and wife Jessica, Daniel and fiancé Jennifer, Matthew, Brendan , Sean, Stephanie and husband Mark,  Alicia and husband Nick, Kayla, Chelsea, Alexa, and Jillian;  great grandchildren Joshua, Brenna, Molly, Olivia, Liam, Maggie and Charlie.

She was also preceded in death by her brother John.

The family would like to thank the Traditional Home Health and Hospice for their dedicated and compassionate care given to Patricia while she was in their care.
