Patricia Ann Roman, age 70 of Lakeville, PA died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones Thursday evening at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ.

Known to all as Pat, Patty, Patsy or Gramma she was loved for her infectious laughter and caring nature.  Her happiness came from spending time with family and friends. Prior to retirement she had worked at Cove Haven in Lakeville, PA for over 30 years.

Born in Scranton, PA she was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Betty Jenkins Ruddy.

She is survived by her loved ones Clifford Peterson of Hackettstown, NJ, Patricia Roman of Melbourne, FL, Karen McConnell of Honesdale, PA, Stacey Roman and her husband Chuck Herbison of Sparta, NJ, Carl Peterson of Hackettstown, NJ, Her wonderful grandchildren Jessica Yvonne Fisher of Melbourne, FL, Jordan Peterson of Hackettstown, NJ, Tahg and Stone Herbison of Sparta, NJ, a Great Grandson Logan Bennett Attwood of Melbourne, FL, Her sister Sharon Beckage and her husband Frank of Melbourne, FL. Brothers Robert Ruddy and his wife Mary Lynn of Dunmore, and Steven Ruddy of Scranton; a sister-in-law Barbara Roman-Moore of the Bronx, NY; Nieces and Nephews

She was preceded in death by her beloved son Robert Roman, Jr; a brother Paul Ruddy; a sister Betty Ruddy-Reidenbach.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday February 18th at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas More Church 105 Gravity Road Lake Ariel.

Friends may call Friday from 4:00-7:00pm and Saturday 9:00am – 9:30am in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.

Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst Twp.
