Funeral services will be Friday at 6 p.m. at James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel, with the Rev. William Rushik officiating.

Cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

Patricia A. Fritz, 61, of Waymart died Monday at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia following an illness. She was the widow of Donald Fritz who died in 2011.

Born in East Stroudsburg, Pa she is the daughter of the former Viola Repsher – Fetherman of Waymart and the late Bernard Fetherman. She was employed by Wayne Woodlands Manor as an activity aid. She was a member of the South Canaan Free Methodist Church.

Throughout her life Patricia loved to serve the community. For many years she lead a team that participated in the March of Dimes walk. Patricia was a member of the Moose Lodge in East Stroudsburg. Through this venue she helped organize Special Needs Christmas and Halloween Parties, Tricky Trays, Clam Bakes  and numerous other events. 

Patricia loved her family and her friends and always put their needs above hers. She loved working for the residents at Wayne Woodlands Manor and enjoyed spending time with her Children, grandchildren and her dog Cooper. 

Also surviving are daughters Heather Kaiser – Ford and her husband Adam of Waymart, Brenda Diehl of Waymart, Alice Black and her husband Ian of Lake Ariel, and Erin Miller and her husband Nathan of Oklahoma; sons Brian Fetherman and his partner Jared of Oregon and Frank Muller; sisters Debra Bak of Palmerton and Sharon Naumen and her husband Leroy of Pocono Summit; brothers George Fetherman and his wife Colleen of Virginia and Gary Fetherman and his wife Linda of NJ; grandchildren Daisy and Molly Diehl and Frank Muller; several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her son-in-laws Anthony A. Kaiser and Matthew Diehl.

Funeral services will be Friday at 6 p.m. at James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel, with the Rev. William Rushik officiating.
