Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Aniello “Neil” Tufano, Sr., The Hideout, Lake Ariel, died Monday afternoon in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital after an illness. His beloved wife of 33 years is Catherine Gardner. Born in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Alice Mounsey Tufano. He was educated in New York Schools and was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Hamlin. He was employed as an oil truck driver in Queens. Also surviving are a son Aniello “Neil” Tufano, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of South Canaan; a sister Elizabeth Sonsini of Sadsburyville, NY; brothers Thomas of Queens and Nicholas of Mahopac, NY; granddaughters Isabelle, Genevieve and Jennika Tufano; niece and nephews Christopher, Nicholas, Gabriella, Louis, Charles, Michael and Vincent. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4:30pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel with Rev’d Ronald Miller, PhD officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 2 until time of service. Cremation will follow in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home.
