Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10am in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel with services by Rev. Dan Hulse.

Friends may call Wednesday from 4-6pm.

Interment, Sterling Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart 32 ED Preate Dr. Suite 108 Moosic PA 18517

Nancy Ann Swingle, Dickson City, passed away Friday afternoon with her family by her side in the Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit after an illness. She was the widow of Gary Charles Swingle who passed away in 2017.  The couple had been married for 43 years.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Andrew E and Clare M. Carey Svetlovics and was a graduate of the former South Scranton Central High School.  She was a member of the Cortez Community Church. Prior to her retirement she had been employed by Sam’s Club.

Nancy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She also loved camping.  She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have known her.

Surviving are her children Edward Swingle, Tracy Rhodes. Jennifer Nicholson and Andrea Fryzel and husband Jim;  brothers Andrew and Stephen Svetlovics; grandchildren Veronica, Austin, Johnny, Ashley, Christopher, Hannah, and James; six great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter Alicia Fryzel and son in law Dave Nicholson.
