Mildred Pearl Landis Morrill, of Hamlin, went to be with the Lord on January 2nd surrounded by her family. Her husband of 65 years was the late Cleo B. Morrill who died in 2004.

Born in Falling Water, WV, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Jennie Davis Landis. At 97 years old she was a woman of uncompromising devotion to family. Her passion was her family and she had no equal as mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and mother-in-law. She was admired by all who knew her and will be missed by everyone she touched.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Patrick Murnin for all of his great care and compassion as her family doctor and to her wonderful comforting caretaker Debra Kielar. The family would also like to thank little Emily Dicello for her reading and playing with her which always brought the biggest smile to her face and brightened her day.

She was preceded in death by a grandson Joshua Evan Lazorack and two sisters Rachel Evans and Marie Hartman.

Surviving are daughters Cheryl Lazorack and her husband John and Mary Anne Williams; a son Kenneth and his wife Sharon, a sister Lillian Ridenour; a brother Theodore Landis; grandchildren Jennifer Lazorack, John Lazorack III, Jordan Lazorack, Lindsay and Sarah Morrill, and Maureen and Michael Williams; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 10:00am in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel with services by Rev. Dale Pepper.
