Obituaries » Mildred L Bishop March 4, 2014 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Mildred L. Bishop, 82 of Dunmore died Tuesday morning at her home surrounded by loved ones following an illness. She was the widow of Harold Bishop. The couple was married on Nov 17th, 1951 and enjoyed 46 years of marriage. Born June 3, 1931 in Lake Ariel, daughter of the late Earl and Wilma Beatrice Daniels Shaffer. She was employed at Gertrude Hawk for over 40 years. Surviving are daughters Sandra Koch and her husband Ernest of Covington Twp.and Cindy Smith and her husband Steve of Dunmore; a sister Barbara Jones and her husband Lloyd of Olyphant; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter Brenda Howey; a grandson Peter Howey; great grandson Philo Koch; brothers Earl and William. The family would like to thank the staff of Celtic Health Care for their compassionate care. Funeral Services will be Friday at 10:00am in the James Wilson Funeral Friends may call Thursday from 5:00-8:00pm. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
