Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Mary Joan “Joan” Cobb was born in Lake Ariel on October 10, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Joseph T., Sr. and Lucy Lake McDonnell. Graduating from Lake Ariel High School in 1947, she attended Wayne Commercial School in Honesdale before embarking on a successful sales career in Harrisburg and York, with the Reuben Donnelly/ Yellow Pages. In January 1968, while visiting her family in Lake Ariel, her red hair caught the eye of Walter She began her second career in Wayne County working at Isabelle Dunne’s Tax and Accounting She and Walter had a second home at Lake of the Isles at the Thousand Islands on Wellesley Joan spent time with her many local friends and favorite pastimes of Red Hat Luncheons, Bingo Joanie passed away peacefully at Ellen Memorial Skilled Nursing on November 29, 2024, She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Margy Coccodrillli, Eileen Lubaszewski, Tom She was preceded in death by siblings Eleanor Kennedy, Joseph T. loving and happy marriage.

Island, NY. After Walter’s passing in 1987, she continued to maintain and enjoy the property
for many years, spending summers enjoying family members who also lived nearby and
entertaining other family who visited often.
