A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 12pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Rd, Lake Ariel, Pa 18436.

Friends may call from 10am until the time of service.

Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.

Marion Courtright McLain, 73 of Lake Ariel, died Wednesday evening at home. Her loving husband of 50 years is William “Mr. Bill” McLain.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Alan and Dolores Reilly Courtright. She was a graduate of Scranton Central High School Class of 1965. Marion worked alongside her father Alan, making picnic tables in Hamlin until 1980. She loved gardening and cooking. Marion and Bill traveled throughout the United States, only missing 8 States. At the age of 50, she accomplished her lifelong goal of skydiving.

Also surviving are her sister-in-law Judy Palmer and her husband Donald of Moscow; brother-in-law’s Jim McLain and his wife Vanessa of Moscow, Tim McLain and his wife Elaine of Moscow, and Mike McLain and his wife Tammy of Hamlin.

She was preceded in death by her brother Butch Courtright and sister-in-law Susan McLain.
