Marie J. Ferris, 91, Lake Ariel, went to be with her Lord on Friday night in the Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center, Lake Ariel.  She was the widow of Donald E. Ferris who went home to the Lord in 2012.  At the time of his passing the couple had been blessed with 46 years of marriage.

Born in 1933 in Dunmore, Marie was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna DeMarco Costanzo and was a graduate of Dunmore High School.  She was devoted and faithful member of the Canaan Bible Chapel where she sang in the choir.  She also taught at the Canaan Christian Academy.   She had also been employed by Sprague and Henwood Manufacturing as an administrative assistant.

Surviving are her beloved sons Scott and his wife Jeannette and Douglas and his wife Linda;  grandson Joel Ferris; nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by siblings Anthony, Pasquale, Ann and Angela Costanzo.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 15th at 11am in the funeral home with Rev. Dan Baker officiating.

Friends may call from 10am until the time of the service.
