Marie Arissa Drobnicki of Ledgedale died peacefully Thursday morning at home. Her husband of 48 years Joseph Drobnicki died in 2013.

Raised in Colley, PA, she is the daughter of Charlotte Pond – Remington of Tunkhannock and the late Paul Remington.

She was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School, Class of 1964.  After retirement, she enjoyed flower gardening, walking, watching wildlife in her yard and jigsaw puzzles.

She was a member of St. Thomas More/St. Mary’s Parish Community and  a member of the church council. 

Marie was a Hall of Fame voter in Wayne County and had voted every year for over 50 years.

Surviving are a daughter, Donna Kunz and her husband, Chris, of Moscow; a son, David, of Lake Ariel and his companion Sue Milligan of LaAnna; a grandson, Jake Kunz;  sisters Barbara Hinkley and Linda Hinkley both of Springville, Rita Slocum of New Albany, and Susan Buechel of Factoryville; brothers Carl Remington of Wyalusing, Ivan Remington of New Albany, Stanley Remington of Turbotville; and Lloyd Remington of Tunkhannock; her companion Willard Cottrell of Pittston Twp.; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother Scott Remington.

Due to the current health crisis, graveside services will be private in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ledgedale.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
