Funeral services will be held Monday at 10am in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel with services by Rev. Willard Black, pastor of the Elmdale Independent Bible Church, Mt. Cobb.

Friends may call Sunday from 2-5pm.

Interment, Maplewood Evangelical Cemetery, Maplewood.

In  lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hamlin Fire and Rescue PO Box 116 Hamlin, Pa. 18427  and Dessin Animal Shelter 138 Miller Dr. Honesdale, Pa. 18431.

Marian Kellogg, 82, passed away peacefully on Thursday at the Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale.  Her husband of 62 years , Fred Kellogg, passed away in October of 2013.  She was a resident of the Ellen Memorial Nursing Home in Honesdale for nearly 3years.  Previous to that she lived in the Hamlin area.

Born Marian Lorraine Ritter, she was the youngest of 12 children born to Raymond and Mary Maikranz Ritter.  She grew up in Mt Cobb and attended the Jefferson School.  She was a Christian woman who until the decline of her health, read her Bible every day.  Before retiring she was employed as a waitress at Twin Rocks Restaurant in Hamlin.

She enjoyed going to bingo with her friends, was an avid reader and enjoyed the outdoors.

Marian in survived by her three children, Paul and his wife Ann of Hamlin; Elaine Cielski and husband Jim of Dickson City and Alice Mickel of Hamlin;  brothers Irving, Russell and Carl Ritter;  seven grandchildren;  three great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death a son Fred, Jr.; a daughter in law Marcia Kellogg; a grandson Jeffrey Kellogg;  five brothers and two sisters.
