Joseph R. Delfino, Jr. of the Hideout, Lake Ariel died Tuesday night at home following an illness. His wife of 47 years is the former Cheryl A. Murray.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Joseph R. and Nancy Ferlazzo Delfino, he worked as a teacher for 20 years at the Electronics Vocational High School in East Brunswick, NJ. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a member of St. Thomas More/St. Mary’s Parish Community. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Knights of Columbus in Spotswood, NJ.

He enjoyed golfing and loved to travel to historic destinations.

Also surviving are a daughter Colleen Rohal and her husband Anthony of Old Bridge, NJ; a son Derek Delfino of Stroudsburg, PA; a sister Eileen Burriesci of Old Bridge, NJ; grandchildren DJ, Mia, Anna, and Robbie Delfino; a great­grandson Bryce Delfino.
