Please be prepared to pay your respects in a timely manner while refraining from physical contact.   Once you have paid your respects it is kindly asked that if you are staying for the Mass to take your seat or we respectfully ask you to exit the church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10am in the St. Thomas More Church 105 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel by Rev. Stephen Stavoy.

The Mass will be broadcasted live via the James Wilson Funeral Home YouTube Channel by visiting https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKsxSVK433J-BW1zX3fSPhQ

Friends may call Friday from 9am until time of Mass at the Church.

Interment will be Saturday at Noon in the Druid Ridge Cemetery 7900 Park Heights Ave. Baltimore, MD 21208.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the St Thomas More Church PO Box 188 Lake Ariel, PA 18436

Joseph Kellner, Lake Ariel, died Saturday in the Regional Hospital after an illness.  His wife was the former Rhonda Rosenzweig who died May 2, 2016.  The couple had been married 47 years.

Born 1945 in Queens, New York, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Maisie Kellner.  He was  a graduate of the Msgr. McClancy Memorial High School, Queens, New York and went on to earn a Master of Science Degree in Education from Loyola University of Maryland, Baltimore.  Upon graduation he went on to have a long a fruitful career in Special Education in Baltimore City.  He had a strong and dedicated faith to the Catholic faith and was also a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus.

Surviving are two sons Preston and his wife Brooke of Pleasant Valley, NY and Keith and his wife Willa of Lutherville, MD; a sister Barbara “Bobbie” Salvaggio of Amityville, NY; five grandchildren; a sister in law Cindie Rosenzweig;  nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his beloved sons Erin and Stephen.
