Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel. Interment will be private in Sterling Cemetery, Sterling. Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Joseph D. Piesecki, 88, of Sterling died Sunday at Regional Hospital of Scranton following an illness. His wife of 54 years is the former Marilyn Skelton. Born in October 26, 1926 in Angels, PA, son of the late Waslav and Michelina Piesecki, he worked as a machinist and he was a toll and die maker. He loved bowling and was a member of the Newfoundland Horseshoe League. He also loved his dogs as well as gardening and farming. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Also surviving are daughters Robin Secara of Elmhurst Twp., Joan Piesecki of Jamaica, Tracee Doroshow of Newtown, PA, and Tonee Paulosky of Ringwood, NJ; sons Ross Bader of Rosemont, MN, Jodie Piesecki of Moscow, and Joseph Piesecki of Effort, PA; a sister Stella Urban of Binghamton, NY; a brother Eugene Piesecki of South Carolina; 7 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Friends may call Friday from 1:00-2:00pm. Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd.
