Jeanne T. “Jean Walsh, Lake Ariel, passed away Thursday morning in the Commonwealth Hospice of Northeast Pennsylvania Inpatient Unit at the Regional Hospital of Scranton after an illness.

Jean was born in Scranton and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Helen Zawicki Lisko. She was a member of the St. Thomas More St Mary’s Parish Community.

Surviving are a daughter Teresa Pappas and her husband Mark of Greentown; a son Robert Walsh and his wife Francine of Easton; sisters Helene Oakes of Glenside and Ruth Van Leuven of Lake Ariel; brothers Andrew Lisko and his wife Julie of Throop, Daniel Primich and his wife Paula of Olyphant and Michael Primich of Dunmore; three grandchildren Jennifer, Stephanie and Amber; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son John J. Walsh.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday April 23 at 10am in St. Thomas More Church 105 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel, by Rev. Stephen Stavoy, Pastor.

Friends may call Wednesday morning at the church from 9am until time of Mass.

Interment, St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
