Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Harvey F. Peterson, 84, of South Canaan, passed away on Thursday evening at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. His loving wife, the former Gail Kropilak, passed away in 1990. Born in Hackensack, NJ, he was the son of the late Harvey Franklin Peterson and Elizabeth Winters. Prior to retirement, he was a mechanic, bartender, and construction worker. Later on he started Horseshoes with Heart along with his longtime companion Fran Pringle. He was a United States Army Veteran and served in the Korean War. Surviving are his sons Harvey Peterson and his wife Sue of Bloomingdale, New Jersey and Michael Peterson and his wife Kayla of Scott Twp., Pa; a daughter Sherri Wright; Stepdaughters Kendra Pringle and Rebecca Clark; brothers Arnie and Brian Peterson; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Randy Peterson and sister Joan Van Dyke. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
