Glen E. Evans, Dickson City, formerly of Scranton, died Tuesday in the Gino Merli Veteran Center.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late John and Harriet Evans.  He was of the Baptist faith.  Prior to his retirement he had been employed as a truck driver in Scranton.  He was a member of Salem Lodge 330 F.&A.M.   He was a United States Army veteran.

Surviving are a daughter Mary Ellen Battiato; his nephew and caregiver Leonard Gilpin, Jr.; other family members.

He was preceded in death by a sister Harriet Myers.

Funeral services will be held private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the direction of the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
