Obituaries » Georgianna Biesecker Evarts September 15, 1937 - April 18, 2021 Burial Date May 1, 2021 A private graveside service was held in the Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, PA. A public memorial service will be held Saturday, May 1st at 1pm in the Tree of Life Lutheran Church 1492 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17110. All CDC guidelines such as the use of facial coverings and social distancing will be observed. Memorial contributions can be made to the Tree of Life Lutheran Church 1492 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17110. I taught with Georgie in Susquehanna Township School District. Although I haven't seen Georgie since our retirements, I remember her soft spoken and gentle ways with her students. She always made sure her students were exposed to different types of music, instilling in them an appreciation for music. My sincere sympathy to Georgie's family. Susan Bay
Rest in Peace, Miss Evarts. My condolences to the family. Miss Evarts was my music teacher at Herbert Hoover Elementary School from 1962 to 1968. I am so grateful to her for teaching us so many folk songs. I still remember many of them to this day, songs by Stephen Foster, etc..
