Private cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 3rd from 4:00PM – 6:00PM at R Place on 590, 482 Hamlin Hwy. Hamlin, Pa 18472.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions in Frank’s memory may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, PO Box 22324, New York, NY 10087

Franklin J. Schillow, III, 78, of Hamlin, passed away Sunday evening at home following a courageous battle with Myelofibrosis.

Born in Scranton, Pa, he was the son of the late Franklin J., II, and Macie Chapman Schillow. He was a graduate of Johnson School Class of 1962. For 36 years, Franklin was an Engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was a United States Navy Veteran and served in the Vietnam Era.

Frank was a car enthusiast and enjoyed working on and restoring his 1967 Shelby GT 500. He could he found showing his 1969 Jaguar XKE at car shows and cruising with the top down in his 2007 Mustang GT.

Surviving are his daughter Jamie Schillow and her fiance Kevin Larke of Myrtle Beach, SC; a son Eric B. Schillow of Jupiter, FL; a sister Betty Lou Brundage of Moscow; grandchildren Isaiah and Destiny Jacob, and Hudson Larke.

Private cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
