Lake Ariel. Friends may call Monday from 4:00-7:00pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel. Cremation will follow the Mass in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel. Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Francis Williams of The Hideout, Lake Ariel died Thursday evening at home following an illness. His wife is the former Kathleen O’Connor. Born in W. Conshohocken, PA, son of the late Elbridge and Helen Brecker Williams, he was a graduate of Conshohocken High School Class of 1948. He was member of St. Thomas More Church and prior to retirement he worked as a shipping analyst for Lee Tires. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was active in the Hideout Senior Citizens Group and he enjoyed golfing, walking, and reading. Also surviving are sons Richard of Pottstown and John of Lake Ariel; daughters Mary Kay Connell of Upper Darby, PA and Kathleen Frybarger of Michigan; sisters Maureen Carr of Florida and Laura Lee Matos of Collegeville, PA; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brothers Jim of New York and Paul of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by a son Francis, Jr.; brothers Elbridge and Larry. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00am in St. Thomas More Church 105 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.
