Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10am in the St Thomas More Church 105 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel by Rev. Stephen Bosomafi, pastor.

Friends may call  Wednesday morning in the Narthex of the church from 9am until the time of the Mass.

Interment, St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow.

Frances Cerar, Old Bridge, New Jersey, 98, formerly of Lake Ariel, PA., passed away Saturday night at the home of her son surrounded by her family.  She was the widow of Anthony Cerar who passed away in 2009.

Born April 17, 1926, in South Canaan, PA., she was the daughter of the late Michael and Josephine Damien Koza.  She was a member of the St. Thomas More & St Mary’s Parish Community and prior to her retirement she had been employed by Plessey Aircraft Company assembling airplane engines.

Surviving are her son Joseph, with whom Frances resided;  Grandchildren Joseph, Jr., David and Kristen and her husband Manny Beg.  Great grandchildren Kyra, Joseph, III, Alexander and Nathalie.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings Joseph, Walter and Edward Koza; Julia Koza and Helen Warholic.
