It is with deep sadness I learned of the passing of Dr. Singer. I wish to pass on my heartfelt condolences to all his family and everyone in the practice. Dr Singer took me in on a Sat afternoon just before closing in Feb of 2014. I wasn’t even a patient. It was late. He had no reason to allow me to come, but he did. That was him. He put me through a battery of neurological tests - all of which I passed. He saw that I was nervous and sensed I knew something was still wrong. He said “ ok- u guys hop in the car right now, II’ll call ahead to the Scranton hospital and they’ll be waiting to get you in for an emergency Cat Scan (just in case) The hospital admitted me and within a few hours opened me up to fix a brain injury that had been dripping blood for a little more than a month. It was about to explode, and I was going to die from it- no doubt. Thank you Ethan for being the compassionate, caring, attentive Dr that u were. I wouldn’t have had these 8 plus years without your expertise and your care. Peace in Heaven my friend!

Doris, Deb and family, Lakota Health Care staff my sincere condolences. Ethan was one of a kind. His professionalism as a doctor. But more than that a friend. Ethan was there for me in good times and some bad times, but he was there. His house calls to my mom, his support he gave me with my husband. He gave everyone the care they needed. November 4, 2009. the day that Ethan became my angel on my shoulder the day he saved my life. From that day forward whenever I saw him, I would say to him "hey it's my angel on my shoulder". I would get that smile, a chuckle and then the hug. I will miss those hugs. You will be missed my friend; you will be missed. But you will always be my angel on my shoulder.

Dear Dr. Singer Family, I offer you my sincere condolences in Dr. Singer's passing. I had the distinguished pleasure to work with him through the Rural Telehealth Educational Consortium at Binghamton University. Dr. Singer was such a compassionate, caring individual who gave countless hours to support and educate many, many of the BU nursing students throughout the years, and provided such an undeniable foundation for their ultimate success, where his legacy will not be forgotten. I hope that you will find the strength to persevere through this extremely difficult time by remembering all the fond memories created and shared throughout the years. May God's Peace be with you all. Remembering Dr. Singer, Jo Anne Potter

I’ve know Ethan since our days in home room at Wallenpaupack High School and he was the nicest guys you would have met. Throughout our high school days and afterwards I became closer with him and his family even celebrating a Thanksgiving dinner at their house. One of the best qualities he had was his relentless spirit to help others. He used the spirit in his days riding with Tafton’s ambulance, doing patient transports to providing his patients a with a caring and dependable doctor in his health practice. Ethan leaves us way to early and I know Doris and Debbie will truly miss him. My friend you are gone but you will never be forgotten. RIP

We were saddened to hear the news about Dr. Singer, a compassionate, understanding doctor for my family. Having special needs, my son was reluctant to meet a new doctor when he aged out of being under the care of a pediatrician. The first time he met Dr. Singer, my son sat down on the floor of the office hallway. Dr. Singer sat down next to him and examined him right there! He really gained my son's trust at that point and provided service above and beyond what we expected over the next few years. Our hearts go out to his dear relations, as well as to his office "family" members. Rest in peace, Doc. We will miss you so much.

Doris, there are not enough words to tell you how sorry I am about Ethan. He was such a good doctor and a good man. He was really good to me. God be with you as you go through this very difficult time. I am in Florida now and so many times when I go to a new doctor, I think of Dr. Singer. Haven't found one like him yet.Be strong and look to the Lord.

My sincere condolences to Doris and your family. This was such sad news, my heart is hurting. I first met Ethan 23 years ago when my son needed to have an X-ray due to bronchitis. Dr. Rob sent us to Callicoon and assured us Ethan would take great care of my son. After Ethan checked out my 2year old son, he looked in his eyes and said” Dr. Rob is so lucky to have you for his patient, I wish you were my patient “. The next 23 years became history! Ethan always surrounded himself with top notch employees, my prayers also go out to all of them. Sadly for us, your time on earth was way too short, but God knew you were tired, and called you home. I will always remember your kind and loving heart, and your quirky sense of humor was always fun! Rest peacefully my friend, this is not goodbye, we will meet again ♥️. Jo Ann & Ed Lare’

I’m so saddened by Dr. Singer’s passing. He was my parents’ doctor & was truly one of kind. He was extremely kind & compassionate & always made sure to get my mom immediate attention after she developed some medical complications following the sudden passing of my father in 2020. Heaven gained an angel. My sincere condolences to the Singer & Lakota families.

We are so sorry to hear of Ethans passing. I worked with Ethan at SCCC and he was working the emergency room in Callicoon when we brought my mom in with difficulties due to dementia. He was such a big help. Sandy and Bill Burn

I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Singers passing. What a great guy. He always had a smile on his face and he was such a kind man. Don't know how I'm going to find a doctor that will replace him. God rest his soul and give peace to his family. I have no doubt that he is in a good place now reaping his reward for his work and kindness and I know he will be watching over his loved ones. <3

The reality of this still hasn't sunken in for Shirley, or me. Doris, and Debbie, we can't imagine what you are going through in your hearts and minds. Our love and prayers are always with you, and you surely know that we are here for you both, however, or wherever we can help. Doc E was, most importantly, a great friend that we loved dearly. He will be remembered, missed, and loved forever.
