Due to COVID restrictions and concerns, there will only be a graveside service held at the Hollisterville Cemetery at a date to be determined.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Esther’s honor to Amazing Grace Bible Baptist Church, Moscow

Esther K. Parry, Hollisterville, died early Monday morning in the Julia Ribaudo Senior Care Center.  She was the widow of Frank Parry Sr.

Born February 18, 1923 in Maplewood, she was the daughter of the late Eli and Esther Oney Swingle and was one of their eight children.  Esther attended church faithfully at the Amazing Grace Bible Baptist Church, Moscow.  Esther was a loving and caring woman who will be deeply missed by her family.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff of the Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center for the dedicated, compassionate and excellent care they provided Esther during her time at the facility.

Surviving are daughters Doris Walton and husband Ronald of Hollisterville, Diane Billingsly and husband Joseph and Pam King and husband Jerry both of Tunkhannock; sons Frank Parry, Jr. and wife Lorraine of South Carolina, Jesse Parry and wife Allison of Ledgedale, and Carl Parry and wife Jodi of Boiling Springs, PA. Also surviving are daughters in law Debbie Parry of Hollisterville and Donna Parry of Florida; 22 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her sons Richard “Dick” and Jerry Parry.
