Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Elaine Thomas Frey of the Hideout, Lake Ariel PA left her earthly body Friday July 6, 2018 at her beautiful home surrounded by family following her long battle with cancer. Her husband of 47 years is Gary Frey. Elaine was born in Manhattan, NY, daughter of the late John Kellinger Thomas and Madelaine White Thomas, she was a graduate of Greenwich Academy, Brooklyn College, and the Long Island College Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Midwife and a Labor Delivery RN, who helped many babies come into the world. She was a Le Leche League Leader, and Lactation Specialist. She was a Goddess, a warrior, a rebel, a trailblazer, a leader, an advocate for women and children, and the single most unique person to have ever graced our lives. Her legacy includes daughters Jennifer and Madelaine, sons Casey and Jedediah, and being Mema to her grandchildren Kellinger, Maddox, Michela and Tristan Frey.
