Sadlon, 80, of Cobbs Lake Preserve, Lake Ariel died Tuesday at Regional Hospital of Scranton. His wife of 32 years is the former Julia Garcia. Born in Hillside, NJ, son of the late John and Elizabeth Sako Sadlon, he was employed as a Police Officer in Hillside, NJ where he retired as a Sergeant. He was a member of Salem Lodge F. & A.M. # 330 and the Irem Temple Shrine. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and woodworking. Also surviving are daughters Susan Sadlon of Garwood, NJ and Karen Ortstein of Middlesex, NJ; a son Steven and his wife Irene of Stirling, NJ; grandchildren Jacqueline and Nicholas Sadlon; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother John Sadlon; sisters Ann Sadlon and Eleanor Yurecko. A Masonic Service will take place Saturday at 12:30pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel. Friends may call Saturday from 10:30am-12:30pm. Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
