Diana Marie Chumard, 58, of Lake Ariel died Wednesday evening at home following an illness. Her husband was the late Benjamin Chumard who died in 1994.

Born in Scranton, Pa, daughter of the late Harold and Frances Hedglin Connolly, she was a member of Salem Community Church, formerly the Centenary United Methodist Church, Hamlin.

She loved Country music and line dancing. She enjoyed Schuyler’s chorus concerts and watching him play baseball. She loved her pets, they kept her company. She enjoyed watching the birds and game shows, most of all she loved her family and will be greatly missed by all.

Surviving are a daughter Melissa Matisko and her husband Jason of Lake Ariel; a son Schuyler Chumard of Lake Ariel; a sister Lorraine Barry of Lake Ariel; brothers Wallace Connolly of Greenville, NY, Patrick and Ronald Connolly both of Beach Lake, and Harold Connolly, Jr. of Newport Richey, FL; Nieces and Nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 11:00am in the Salem Community Church. 632 Hamlin Hwy. Hamlin, Pa 18427.by Rev. Jeffrey Rarich, Pastor.

Friends may call Saturday from 10:00am until time of service

Inurnment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst

Cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory
