Debbie, just returned home and learned of of the passing of Dennis. Dennis was a good friend through the years, both while he was employed at Penndot and after his retirement. We had many talks about hunting and fishing when I would stop by the penndot building during the lunch hour. I am so sorry for your loss, and I know that Dennis is now with the lord and is free of the pain of the last few years. I will also truly miss him. God bless you and your family.

I met your family 32 years ago...Dana and I met in 1st grade and an Instant bond was formed. As we became friends, our parents became friends too. From two little girls playing barbies and sneaking up into Dennis' garage to peek at the snakes came a lifetime of love and friendship for all of us. We are so saddened for you all...the loss is beyond words really. What a good man he was, loving and kind. He will be missed so much. I'm so thankful to have known him, and to have been a little part of your family when I was growing up! My love to all of you...with deepest sympathy. Amie Heller (Herrmann)

My first day at Wallenpaupack on sat on the bus next to Dennis and on many other rides we shared our love for music. He invited me over to his house to see his dad's stereo and that was the first I heard Eric Clapton with Blind Faith. My thoughts to all his family, I only knew him in his teen's and he was the first cool kid I met when I attended school. I will also remember him with fond memories.
