Clifford “Jim” Christiana, 67 of Lake Ariel, passed away Wednesday morning, with family by his side at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, following an illness. His late wife Theresa, was the love of his life, passed away before him in 2017.

Born in Kingston, NY, he was the son of the late Clifford and Edith Fautum Christiana. He graduated from Kingston High School in Kingston, NY. He was the owner and operator of CJ Christiana Transportation in Lake Ariel for many years.

He was a hard worker and very dedicated to his family and friends. He was especially devoted to his son CJ, who was his best friend.  He deeply loved all of his children. He was a true friend to all, and will be truly missed. He always told the best stories. He had the “gift of gab” and always wanted to make people laugh.

Surviving are his daughters Santina Christiana and her fiancé Thomas Roegner of Lake Ariel, Amanda D’Aversa and her husband Matthew of Deltona, FL., and Melanie Christiana of New Paltz, NY; sons Clifford “CJ” Christiana of Lake Ariel and James “Jimmy” Bowden of Lake Ariel; a sister Jean Chilcott and her husband Mike of Rifton, NY; brothers Gary Christiana and his wife Gina of New Paltz, NY, Robert Christiana and his wife Carol of Mountain Home, AK, and Dale Christiana and his wife Deb of Cartersville, GA; grandchildren Lucas Roegner, Emma and Owen D’Aversa, and McKenley Christiana; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A Blessing Service will be held on Saturday February 12^th at 11:00am in the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel, Pa 18436.

A viewing will be held for family and friends at 10am with the blessing service to follow at 11am.
