Canaan died Friday at Hospice of the Sacred Heart following an illness. Her husband is Timothy Robinson. Born in Carbondale, daughter of the Anthony and Helen Lamberton Amorine, she was a member of the Canaan Bible Chapel. She loved cooking, sewing, gardening, and baking. Also surviving are a daughter Christy Robinson; a niece Dawn Mitchell; sisters Rose Bronson, Sandra Hineline, and Karen Spewak; brothers Ted, Ronald, Joe, Roger, and John Amorine; a granddaughter Stephanie Robinson; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son Brian Robinson. Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel. A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 11:00am in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel with services by Rev. Dan Henwood. Friends may call Friday from 9:00-11:00am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 712 S.
