A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, May 27th at 10:00am in St. Thomas More Church, 105 Gravity Road, Lake Ariel, Pa 18436 with services by Rev. Stephen Bosomafi, Pastor.

All of those planning on attending the mass are asked to go directly to the church.

Friends may call on Friday, May 26th from 4:00pm – 6:45pm at the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel, Pa 18436.

Due to Christian’s young children being present for the viewing the casket will be closed until 6:45PM. At that time, the casket will be opened for friends and family to pay their final respects.

Christian De Marinis, 44 of The Hideout in Lake Ariel, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital from complications of Hereditary Angioedema. His loving wife is Donna Lepore – De Marinis.

Born in Queens, NY, he is the son of Dennis De Marinis, Sr. and his wife Patricia of Valley Stream, NY, and the late Mary Agnes Fitzgibbons – De Marinis. He was a graduate of Valley Stream Central High School and attended Nassau Community College. He was employed by Ferguson Plumbing Supplies in the Sales Department.

Christian was an avid Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers fan. He enjoyed watching horror movies, listening to podcasts about horror movies, eating peanut M&M’s, drinking coffee and beer, and traveling. He enjoyed getting an earful from his wife. His children were his pride and joy.

Also surviving are daughters Isabella “Bells” De Marinis of Long Beach, NY, and Wrigley Shea De Marinis of Lake Ariel; a son Walker Rayden De Marinis of Lake Ariel; a brother Dennis DeMarinis, Jr. of New Bedford, MA; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Louis Jimmy Carlesi.
