Charles G. Karross of WLE died Monday evening at Ellen Memorial Healthcare Center, Honesdale following an illness. His wife was the former Katherine DeHeer Joynson who died in 2011.

Born in Clifton, NJ, son of the late Charles and Anna Liescak Karross, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Seton Hall University. Charles retired as a highly regarded senior sales engineer with PMS Consolidated (now PolyOne Corporation) after ownership of multiple injection molding businesses in NJ. Charles was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Surviving are his step-daughter Diane Thompson and her husband Richard of Lake Ariel; a step-son Jack E. Joynson Jr. and his wife Mary Ellen of Spotsylvania; sister Evelyn Pringle and brother-in-law Robert Pringle Sr. of Wayne, NJ; grandchildren Elizabeth Thompson, Earl Thompson, Charles Joynson, Jack Joynson III, Nicholas Joynson; nephews Robert and Scott Pringle.

Cremation will take place in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

Inurnment will take place in St. Agnes Cemetery, Naples, FL.
