Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Catherine Gallo, a resident of Wallenpaupack Lake Estates, formerly of Brooklyn, died Monday afternoon in the Geisinger Community Medical Center after a long illness. She was the widow of Sam Gallo who died in 1990. Born 1929 in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Viola D’Oria Caparco and was educated in Brooklyn schools. She was a member of the St Thomas More St Mary’s Parish Community, attending St. Mary’s Church, Ledgedale. Surviving are her daughters Jeri Fleming and her husband James, Simone Gilleeny, Katherine Rafanelli and her husband Robert and Michele Gioe all of Wallenpaupack Lake Estates; fourteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Brianne Gioe and great granddaughter Ava Gioe. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church, Ledgedale. Private interment, Bath National Cemetery, New York.
