A celebration of life will take place Saturday, June 5th beginning at 10:00 am with services following at 11:30 am at the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.

Family and friends are invited to attend Saturday morning from 10 am until the time of the service.

Bruce M. Rogers, Wallenpaupack Lake Estates, Lake Ariel, formerly of Ellenville, NY passed away peacefully Saturday at home surrounded by his family, after a courageous ten-year battle with cancer.  His wife of 34 years is the former Diane Sideri.

Born June 18, 1962 in Cortland, New York, he was the son of the late William Rogers and Luella Marcks Rogers.  He earned his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Albany and his master’s degree from SUNY New Paltz.  Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Fallsburg Junior-Senior High School as a math teacher for 24 years.  Bruce enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing and was a knife enthusiast.

Also surviving are sons Andrew Rogers and his wife Jessica of Bradenton, Florida and Matthew Rogers and his wife Brenna of Grahamsville, New York; daughter Emily Rogers of Lake Ariel; his grandson Gianni Rogers; brothers Marc Rogers and wife Wendy and Stuart Rogers; sister Andrea Lindemann and husband Tim; and several nieces and nephews.
