Cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory in the James Wilson Funeral Home.

Bradley M. Gilpin, 68, of Lake Ariel died Tuesday at VNA Hospice at Geisinger Community Medical Center . His wife  of  42 years is the former Donna Samson.

Born in Carbondale, he was the son of  the late Merle and Betty Stevens Gilpin. Prior to retirement he was employed as mechanic and welder. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and working in his garage. He was a United States Navy Veteran.

Also surviving are sons Scott Vannatta of  Arizona; William and Jeffrey  of  Lake Ariel; daughters Nicole Klikus and husband Joseph of Hawley, and Brittany of Lake Ariel; brothers Donald of Lake Ariel, Thomas and John of Waymart, and Steve of Texas; grandchildren Nicholas, Ashley, Mitchell, Cedar, Chloe, Jeffrey, and Jade; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of the VNA Hospice Inpatient Unit for their exceptional care and compassion to Brad.
