Obituaries » Betty Covey Dolowy November 14, 1944 - December 9, 2017 Burial Date December 14, 2017 Funeral Home James Wilson Funeral Home Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10am in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel officiated by the Rev. Jeff Rarich, pastor of the Salem Community Church. Friends may call Wednesday from 3-7pm as well as Thursday morning from 9-9:50am. Cremation will follow services in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Wayne County Children’s Christmas Bureau 200 Delaware St. Honesdale, PA 18431. Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

I am so thankful that I had an opportunity to call Betty, Friend. I will never forget the great time we had in Vegas, and our many outings to Atlantic City. Betty was a role model for many people in the real estate industry. She was a true believer in doing what was best for her clients and I learned a lot by watching Betty work with her clients. A true class act is the best way to describe Betty Covey, real estate broker. Her true love was her family. I can't begin to tell you all how many times we spoke about her love for Bruce and her children and then, the grandchildren. Nothing made Betty happier than knowing her family was happy. My heart goes out to your family and know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I have been blessed to believe that our heavenly home awaits us and someday, we will all be together again.

Dear Bruce, Bruce & Audra: I was extremely sadden to hear of Betty's passing. It is never an easy time to lose someone you loved for so many years. No words anyone expresses will ease your pain. Time passing will help. I had a hard time when i lost Carol. The bereavement sessions I took at Wayne Memorial Hospital and my faith in God helped me through the tough times. My sincere condolences.
