Lake Ariel by Rev. Stephen Stavoy, pastor. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Bernice M. Botjer, 87, of Lake Ariel, died Sunday morning at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center in Honesdale. She was the wife of the late Arthur Botjer. Born in Lake Ariel, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lotti Pitcavage Klepadlo. She was a graduate of Newfoundland High School and devoted her life to caring for her family especially her grandchildren. Prior to her retirement she was employed at the Twin Rocks Dinner in Lake Ariel. She was a member of the St Thomas More-St. Mary’s Parish Community, Lake Ariel. Surviving are two sons Art Botjer and his wife Vicky and David Botjer, both of Lake Ariel; grandchildren Michael, Kevin, and Maghan Botjer and Emma Lamberton; great-granddaughter Trinity; a sister Pat Kandrovy of Honesdale; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Klepadlo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday January 19th at 10am in the St Thomas More Church, 105 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel by Rev. Stephen Stavoy, pastor. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
