I knew Allen from many years ago when we were high school aged. Although we both grew up in the Abngtons, I met Allen at the Watres Armory Skating Rink. Roller skating was popular back then, and I saw Allen on many weekends there.

My dad worked for many years in the parts department at Scranton Tractor, and as a small child Mr. Leach’s name was a household word as my father spoke very highly of him and his kindness and concern for my dad and our family. My dad loved working there because of Mr. Leach and 50 years later, while I never met the man, I still remember the kind words about him as spoken by my father. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of sorrow.

I will always remember Allen most for his faithfulness to our Lord Jesus. He led me to the Lord 15 years ago and for that I'm forever grateful. He is with our Saviour now in perfect peace. John 3:16
