Mead February 5, 1954 - July 19, 2018 Burial Date July 28, 2018 A memorial service will be held Saturday at 3pm in the Grace Episcopal Church, 827 Church St, Honesdale, PA officiated by Rev’d. Edward Erb, Rector. Friends may call Saturday from 2pm until time of service. Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel. Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Alice T. Mead of The Hideout, Lake Ariel died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital following an illness. Her husband of 41 years is Paul Mead. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Angel L. and Doris C. Colon Rivera, she was a graduate of North Babylon High School, Long Island and had worked as a CNA at Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center for the last 28 years. She attended the Hamlin Assembly of God Church. Also surviving are daughters Danielle Mead of Lake Ariel, Lisa Schaffer of Lake Ariel, and Sylina Coar of Honesdale; her sister Yolanda Michinski of N. Babylon, NY, brother Angel L. Rivera, Jr. of Bell Point, NY, brothers Raymond Rivera, Kevin Rivera, and Jonathan Rivera all of New Haven, CT; and sister Courtney Rivera of Williamsport, PA; and grandchildren Oliva Coar, Emma and Alex Depew, and Evan Schaffer.
