Ryan David Enslin, 41, of Lake Ariel died peacefully in his sleep Saturday morning at home May 5, 2018.

Born in Honesdale, son of Ivan and Beverly Chapman Enslin, Jr. of Lake Ariel, he was a graduate of the Canaan Christian Academy Class of 1994 and he attended Baptist Bible College.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he had been employed as a network engineer.

Ryan had a gentle, sensitive spirit and a great sense of humor. He was profoundly loved by all who knew him. In younger years he was an enthusiastic soccer player.

When he wasn’t working on computers, he enjoyed hiking and camping. Music was one of Ryan’s great loves. Whether playing his violin, singing in a group or alone, music was a constant source of joy in his life.  But most of all, Ryan loved his family, especially his son Ethan and his nieces and nephews.

His parents were very proud to call him their son.  Ryan will be deeply missed and never forgotten by those he held dear.

Also surviving are a son Ethan Enslin of Scranton; a sister Denise Eason and her husband Ken of Moscow; nieces and nephews Zackary, Emily, Kyle, and Brooke Eason, Miranda and Frances Pikul: several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Graveside services will be held on June 9th at 1:30pm in the Maplewood Evangelical Cemetery. Family and Friends are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project PO Box 758517 Topeka, KS 66675-8517 or by visiting www.woundedwarriorproject.org.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
