Preston James Henwood, 26, of Jefferson Twp., died Thursday  from injuries sustained in a Motorcycle Accident.

Born in Scranton, he is the son of Bradley and Carriann Sheppleman Henwood of Jefferson Twp. He was a member of the Light of Christ Church, Mt. Cobb. He was a graduate of North Pocono High School Class of 2009 and was currently employed by Datom Products as a Haz-Mat Specialist.

Preston was full of life and had a smile that brought  joy to everyone he knew. He enjoyed living life to the fullest always having to be the fastest, from running the bases in little league to pushing any limit in life he possibly could. He was a loving son, brother, grandson and uncle with a heart of gold.  He loved watching Dallas Cowboys football, spending time with his niece, playing with his dog Molly,  throwing a baseball in the backyard with his brother, and always getting the last word in with his sister! He always looked forward to being with friends and helping them in  any way that he could. He loved cars and tinkering with them any chance he got. He will be missed dearly by everyone’s life he touched and will never be forgotten.

He is survived by sisters Brittnee Podunajec and her husband Justin of Texas and Desiree Luyster of Jefferson Twp.; a brother Owen Henwood of Texas; Maternal Grandparents Bill and Carol Hineline of Jefferson Twp.; Paternal Grandparents Rev. William and Ida Mae Henwood of Sterling; a niece Arianna Luyster; Loving Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Preceded in death by his beloved dog Molly on August 5, 2017
