John H. Yatsonsky, 80, of Lake Ariel died unexpectedly Friday morning at home. His wife of 54 years is the former Margaret Wassel.

Born in Eynon, son of the late John T. and Margaret Russell Yatsonsky, he had worked on the family dairy farm and was employed as a press operator for 28 years at Moore Business Forms in Honesdale until his retirement. He enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s academic and sporting events. He always had a strong Roman Catholic faith, attending weekly Mass, and living his faith daily. He was a kind, generous man, who was greatly loved by his family. His family knew he loved them by his words and actions praying daily for them. He will be missed by all who knew him.
